Breaking Away from Domestic Violence
First Annual Bicycle Race & Ride
Mound View Park - Platteville, WI

Platteville Family Resource Center is proud to present the first annual "Breaking Away From Domestic Violence" Bicycle Race & Ride through the beautiful hills of Southwest Wisconsin.
In partnership with WiSport, this is a 35 to 40 mile race with awards provided for registered race participants. For family fun, there will be a recreational ride of approximately 8 miles to the Platteville M.
Please join us after the ride for other fun family activities at the Mound View Park including live music, face painting, food and more!
Race Information:
8AM to 9:30AM - Registration/Check-In for the Race
10AM - Race Starts
Recreational Ride Information:
9AM to 11AM - Registration/Check-In for the Ride
10:30AM - First wave of participants will begin and from there at 15 minute intervals
Children 11 and older pay by donation the day of.
Children 10 and younger are free to participate.
(All children must be accompanied by an adult)
After the Race & Ride:
Join us for live entertainment by a local band "Spare the Pig" at Mound View Park. There will be food and refreshments available as we celebrate survivors and revel in the mission of Family Advocates to eradicate abuse.
