Restorative Justice

Family Advocates Inc. has been invited to work in conjunction with Iowa County and Dodgeville schools to develop a restorative services program.

 

This programming will provide opportunities for youth in the school district to engage with adults to develop a leadership council and diversion program that centers on restorative circles or groups. These circles or groups will address conflicts and communicate methods of resolutions that include accountability and support from everyone involved.

 

This is a program that is community centered and starts with youth ages 12-17 becoming part of a community that they help plan and support through the development of community actions of their own design.
